In this engaging conversation, J.D. Walt and Dan Wilt explore the profound themes of Lent and spiritual transformation through the lens of J.D.'s upcoming book, "Jesus Asking." They discuss the significance of Lent as a journey of questions rather than answers, emphasizing the importance of moving from self-improvement to transformation by embracing the questions Jesus poses. The dialogue delves into the concept of the Christian calendar as a linear, movemental journey, highlighting the cyclical nature of spiritual growth and the role of community in fostering relational wholeness. They reflect on the transformative power of questions, the journey through Lent, and the communal aspect of faith, encouraging listeners to engage deeply with the spiritual journey and the questions that lead to personal and communal transformation.
